Have you made a short film of up to 20 minutes long and do you have a good idea for a matching feature film? Then we're looking for you!
Three Thursdays in August, Pop Up Cinema will once again transform the courtyard of Theater De Nieuwe Vorst into a summer outdoor cinema. On these evenings, we will screen a short film by a young filmmaker as an amuse-bouche to a main feature film. For the third consecutive year, we're collaborating with young film talent to create the ideal line-up for our summer films. Who knows, you might be next!
What is the theme of your film? Which director or genre inspired you? Which main feature does your work rhyme with? Or is there a film that you think everyone should see? The selected filmmakers can present their work as a preview for the evening's main film, which we will program together.
The events will take place on:
- Thursday 14 August
- Thursday 21 August
- Thursday 28 August
What you need to know:
- Your film lasts a maximum of 20 minutes
- The film has subtitles
- You have a good idea for a theme or genre for the evening. You can explain this idea. The main feature film selection occurs based on your vision. We will program the film together.
- You will receive a fee of 150 euros for screening your film and your contribution to the evening.
- You must be present on the day itself.
